DUCSU election nears its climax

For the past few weeks, the Dhaka University campus has been a hive of activity centring the DUCSU election, set for September 9. Candidates and their panels have been busy campaigning amid an air of festivity. Will the BNP's student front JCD prevail as expected, setting the tone for the general election of 2026? Or can the Islami Chhatra Shibir spring a surprise? How will the faces associated with the July Uprising's leaders fare? Answers this coming week.
